About Me

Undergraduate student at UC Berkeley pursuing a BA in Computer Science and Data Science. I have research experience in biostatistics and data visualizations and I am looking to apply this experience to the professional environment. Actively searching for a data science internship!  Two summers ago many of my internships and volunteering opportunities were canceled due to COVID-19. However, since I knew I wanted to try out research, I took this situation and utilized the extra time I was given to embark on a research project with a UC Berkeley graduate student.

I chose to conduct research into physiology and blood coagulation due to the large number of fatalities caused by blood clots. Even though I am a student, I wanted to see what I could do to help people suffering from high blood pressure without having to use harmful drugs such as Warfarin. I investigated the anticoagulant properties of salicylic acid and found results that could have helpful implications if further studied.
